How do I choose which course to take?
All the courses start off with beginners in mind, but they cover a lot of ground and so are equally useful if you already paint and
just want to learn more. Here’s a summary of what is in each course so you can compare them.

This 32 part course covers all you need to know in order to paint in watercolours. Starting with learning about materials and basic techniques, I’ll then teach you how to paint landscapes, still life, portraits, and even in abstract ways. There are sections on drawing, design, and colour, as well as how to create textures and details.
The first 5 Parts are sent to you weekly, and the rest of the course comes out every two weeks.
This is a complete course for those who want to know how to paint from scratch.

This 7 part course, sent to you weekly, is for all those watercolour painters who would love to loosen up and paint in a free and quick way. Each weekly part of the course is based on the style and methods of a particular master of watercolour impressionism. From these great artists you will learn how to paint in a loose and free style.
The course will be most suitable for those who already paint in watercolors but is really for anyone who just wants to loosen up.

I’ll show you a number of essential acrylic techniques, and how to paint in a variety of different styles. There are sections on how to understanding colour, painting without drawing, using acrylics as if they were oils, and using acrylics as if they were watercolours. If you have always wanted to paint in acrylics, then this is the course for you.

This 7 part course, sent to you weekly, shows you how to paint in oils using a variety of techniques. The lessons cover all the main methods of painting, and includes glazing, scumbling, using palette knives and sketching outdoors. There is a wide selection of subjects to have a go at, from still life to sunsets. The course uses water soluble oils, but you can follow along with traditional oils just as well. There are videos and pages of clear instructions.

This 16 part course, sent to you weekly, will show you how to master drawing. I’ll show you how to accurately draw what you see in front of you, and there are plenty of projects to help you expand your creative side as well. The course teaches how to use charcoal, pens and brushes as well as the humble pencil, and covers a whole variety of subjects.
The drawing course is a much expanded version of the drawing section of the watercolour course, so even if you have done that course there is much more to learn here.

Using Watercolour Pencils is a short introductory course that will show you how to use watercolour pencils in a whole variety of ways. As you follow along with the step-by-step projects you will learn some clever techniques for producing great effects, and you will learn how to get the best out of these pencils.
The course comes as a book of simple full colour instructions, and videos that show you exactly how it’s done.
Just download and print off the clear and easy to follow instructions as a pdf file, then draw along with them.
You can watch the videos online or download and save the videos to watch when you are offline.
