Who am I?
I am a British artist, and until recently I lived in Keswick in the beautiful Lake District of England. But now, as from January 2009 I have moved to live in a small town called Cox in the Alicante region of Spain (Costa Blanca), with my lovely wife Donna.
I have painted and drawn for as long as I can remember, and finally turned professional in 2000. I enjoy painting in watercolours, acrylics and oils and have recently begun to demonstrate for Derwent Pencils.
I wrote and published the online watercolour course in the Spring of 2005, and in 2006 added the acrylics course. The drawing course and the watercolour pencils course were published in 2008.
I also organise and lead several painting holidays each year, taking groups of 6-12 people to wonderful and beautiful locations to draw and paint for 5-7 days at a time.
I believe that anyone can learn to paint if given clear and easy instructions, and I have always tried to motivate and encourage everyone to paint, whatever their ability. Join me on one of my online courses and see how you too can learn to paint!
