Learn to draw
with this 16 week course sent to you by email.

The course comes to you in weekly instalments. In each issue you will find:

• an audio introduction
• drawing projects with several pages of step-by-step instructions
• video clips to show exactly how it is done

The course works by taking you through a series of carefully graded exercises that build on each other. These cover all the basics of drawing and are designed to give you all the skills you need to develop your drawing.

Whether you are a complete beginner, or are wanting to develop your skills, if you are drawing for work, or as a basis for your paintings, or simply just for the fun of it, then this course is for you!

What will I learn?
The course is divided into four sections that cover these topics:

Expand your creativity - lots of exciting and inspiring exercises that will open the door to whole new areas of your creativity. They will help you to see and draw things in a completely new way!

Drawing what we see. This section includes such things as: My Five Techniques of accurate drawing, how to use line and tone to great effect, how to handle perspective, and how to draw and sketch outdoors.

Drawing with...a whole variety of implements. We will use pencils, charcoal, brushes, and different types of pens. I’ll show you how to get the best out of each of them.

How do I draw? learn to draw all those ‘difficult subjects’, especially people, animals, boats and landscapes.

Learn at your own pace!

Each weekly part will take between one and two hours to complete, but don’t worry if you think you may not be able to keep up. There’s absolutely no rush!
You can save the links to the various parts of the course and then download them at your leisure. You can revisit any of the back issues at any time, and there is no pressure to ‘keep up’. Just take the course at your own speed.

So why not give the course a try. It doesn’t matter if you have never picked up a pencil and drawn before!
